This kinetic installation shows the gentrification by moving architectural models slowly closer during the coarse of the exhibition opening hours to another model, inspired of the projectspace Spanien 19c from Aarhus, Denmark. It is actually in a simular situation of being threatend by surrounding luxus flats and offices buildings coming nearer and nearer, thus served as inspiration for this installation.
The title of this work is a play on a title of a painting by Salvador Dali.
